Crystal Cartwright Bauman was born and raised in Whiteville, Tennessee in a family of eleven. She graduated from Methodist Hospital School of Nursing in Memphis and began a career in nursing at LeBonheur Children’s Medical Center. She is married to Paul Bauman. They have lived in the states of Tennessee, Alabama, Michigan and Wisconsin during their careers, but chose to retire in Springville to live near family. Other Clearbranch family includes daughter, Audrey Young and her family, Neil, Peyton and Emma. Her son, Benjamin Stack lives in Birmingham. She will serve as a volunteer Parish Nurse here at Clearbranch and prays to build a team of people who will serve others by integrating faith and health.

Areas of nursing she has experienced beside pediatrics are dialysis, oncology, dermatology, hospice and now school nursing. She also taught Health Science for twelve years in Eufaula, AL and coached tennis, basketball, cross country and cheer.

She loves learning more and more about Jesus through Bible study and has been in a Precepts study for the last two years. She and Paul co-teach a small group with the Underwoods. Her spiritual gift is compassion and she has been blessed to serve on several international mission trips. This year she and Paul will be going to India.

She and Paul are tennis partners and enjoy watching sports together. They yell “War Eagle!”
